The Level 3 Business Administrator / Executive Assistant Apprenticeship is designed for individuals in administrative and executive assistant roles who are responsible for providing support across business functions. It offers a blended learning approach, including face-to-face tutorials, remote workshops, and e-learning.

Who Is This Apprenticeship For?

This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals working as business administrators or executive assistants who wish to develop their skills in managing operations, supporting senior leaders, and improving business efficiency. It is suited for those looking to progress into more senior administrative roles or expand their responsibilities into leadership, project management, or operational support.

Learners Will

  • Receive one-to-one mentoring sessions every 4–6 weeks from a qualified tutor
  • Participate in live remote workshops and interactive pre-recorded sessions
  • Complete at least 6 hours of study per week
  • Gain hands-on experience in business administration, project management, and stakeholder management

The Apprenticeship Journey

This apprenticeship combines one-to-one coaching, remote workshops, and e-learning to ensure learners develop the skills required for their role. Learners will be assigned a tutor to guide them through the programme, completing modules and assessments that enhance their understanding of business administration, project management, and leadership. Learners must dedicate at least 6 hours of study time per week to complete the necessary coursework, assignments, and formal assessments.

End Point Assessment (EPA)

The final assessment for this apprenticeship includes three key methods:

  1. Portfolio-Based Interview: A discussion with an independent assessor to review the learner’s portfolio of evidence, showcasing their work and development throughout the apprenticeship.
  2. Project / Improvement Presentation: A presentation summarising a project that demonstrates the application of the knowledge, skills, and behaviours gained during the apprenticeship.
  3. Knowledge Test: A test assessing the apprentice’s sector-specific knowledge, including regulations, business fundamentals, and project management principles.
