Programme Design Consultant

We are looking for a creative Programme Design Consultant to join our team in Twickenham. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and versatile learning and development professional with a passion for leadership and management. You can combine these talents and interests with your creative and inquisitive mind and will challenge the status quo by pushing boundaries in an effort to ensure that the programmes you design, not only meet the needs and requirements of key stakeholders and bodies, but equip the leaders and managers of tomorrow with the key skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to make a positive contribution to their workplace and wider society.

Your role will be to design, develop, roll out and implement tailored learning programmes which meet the needs and requirements of employers and learners. You will also act as the Curriculum Lead for Leadership & Management apprenticeships (levels 3 – 5) as well as coordinating the work of fellow part time Curriculum Leads for other sectors.

The ideal candidate

You will have experience of working with external partners/employers, and being able to understand the complex needs and issues they have, and support colleagues in the Business Development Team securing business by correctly interpreting what our partners/employers want and designing/proposing interventions which meet and exceed their needs. In supporting colleagues from the Business Development Team, you will be happy to undertake regular/ad-hoc travel to attend these meetings across the UK.

The skills and experience

  • Teaching qualification (essential)
  • Qualification in Management or Business: (essential)
  • Knowledge of/experience in delivering and assessing work based learning programmes and apprenticeships: (essential)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (essential)
  • Proficient in the use of Moodle, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, MS PowerPoint (advanced) and Camtasia (desirable)
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring and supporting others/colleagues (essential)
