As our provision continues to grow, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Twickenham. As a distinguished provider of education and training programmes for almost 30 years, we are looking for a talented and professional individual to help us continue to grow as an organisation.

The role

Working alongside our existing Account Managers, your primary role will be to identify, develop and secure new business leads which complement our existing apprenticeship provision and impact on the contractual performance targets and our organisation’s strategic objectives.

You will have the opportunity to apply your strong account management skills to grow existing employer relationships as well as attracting new business. You will be required to effectively manage diaries and update internal data systems whilst maintaining a professional and positive approach to working under pressure within a targeted environment.

90% of our apprenticeship provision is within the pan-London area and we also support apprentices and employers across the Midlands, West of England and North of England. This is a business development role with purpose, requiring drive and enthusiasm, coupled with a passion for people and the education sector. Key criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 or more year’s current experience working in a fast-paced sales or business development role with proven success meeting targets
  • Experience of working within the apprenticeship sector (highly desirable)
  • Professional and confident manner with the ability to engage with people at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills and effective diary management using MS Outlook and Excel
  • Sales driven and dedicated to meeting targets
  • Strong business acumen and proven experience of developing leads and maintaining customer relationships
  • Excellent administration, IT and communication skills
  • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work on own initiative and multi task
  • Resilient team player
  • Full, clean driving license
