Vacancy Description: .

  • Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner
  • Directing calls to the correct person and passing on messages
  • Meet and greet all visitors, ensuring they sign in and out
  • Receive and deal with mail and deliveries
  • Schedule appointments
  • Maintain electronic diaries
  • Organise catering (tea, coffee etc) for visitors
  • Maintain records for some HR functions
  • Assistance with facilities management
  • General administration and clerical support
  • Prepare correspondence and documents for scanning
  • To preserve information security, report security breaches, in line with the Information Security Policy, and to act in accordance with the requirements of the Information Security Management System.

Desired skills: 

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Good IT skills, including Word & Excel

Qualifications Required:​

  • Maths & English GCSE A – C 

Personal Qualities:  

  • Good organisational skills
  • Reliable with strong attention to detail

Future prospects:

Progression to any area of the business of interest such as: Bureau Billing Analyst, Developer, Tester, IT, Sales and Marketing, Support Desk.

Qualification Structure:

Successful candidate will be provided with the opportunity to complete a fully certified Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business Administration, which will cover the following frame work:

BTEC Level 2 in Business Administration
Employers Rights and Responsibilities
Functional Skills in ICT, Math and English
Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage:
This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
The National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour.
