I joined Hawk training as a Management and Leadership trainer and I have found it to be an enjoyable and challenging role. The interview process was very thorough and afforded me the opportunity to shadow a tutor so that I could see the role in action. Having been successful, the subsequent induction programme was also very thorough and provides a good grounding for the standards that the company expects. As with any new role once out doing the job is when you really begin to learn the variety and the finer points of the role. There is plenty of support from colleagues and the business retains that small enough to care but big enough to cope feel.
There are plenty of development opportunities and the learning doesn’t stop, whether it is improving functional skills or more developmental programmes the company does invest in its people. I enjoy the challenge of the role and the range of people that I deal with coupled with the fact that I’m still learning and developing makes my role interesting and challenging.
