Reporting to the Commercial Director as part of our Learner Employer Advisor Team, your role will be to contact employers in London and South East to promote work-based Apprenticeships and Apprentice recruitment. The desired outcome will be to book initial appointments with the employers on behalf of the Learner Employer Advisors who will meet with the employer to carry out an Organisation Needs Analysis to establish their requirements and develop the relationship.

The role will include some account management activities as well as telesales and involvement in e-marketing campaigns to ensure campaign objectives and follow ups are achieved. Our continued growth will provide opportunities to add new programmes to our portfolio, giving the post holder a fantastic opportunity to generate new business and really make their mark!

Duties:

- To achieve and maintain the desired levels of sales activity, including making appointments, cold calling and gathering of referrals
- Book and confirm appointments for Learner Employer Advisors
- Ensure CRM database and diaries are accurate and up to date
- Communicate effectively with the employer via email and telephone including sending the relevant marketing information
- Responsible for proactively increasing awareness of all new products amongst clients and prospects
- Providing customers with an exceptional level of service
- To maximise business opportunities from incoming calls
- To ensure that new business activity information is provided accurately and on time

Key criteria:

- A minimum of 2 year’s current experience in a sales/telesales role
- Experience of promoting work based learning/training programmes is an advantage
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding targets
- Professional telephone manner and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets
- Ability to effectively manage appointments electronically
- Up to date administration and IT skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to work on own initiative with a proactive approach
- Accurate data entry and database skills
- Flexible approach and willing to travel within the London area if required
